The latest is actress Sheena Nayyar, right now better known as MALLIKA! She says that although this is just the start of her career she wants to experiment and do all kinds of roles. She also discloses that she would love to work with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, they being her favourites.

Well, given all the praise that Sheena is getting for the Wilson Louis directed MALLIKA, we are sure that lady luck would soon smile by way of a role in a Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan film!

According to reports the wedding was held according to Bengali and Punjabi traditions and it was conducted in the close company of some family and friends. Konkona was seen wearing traditional Bengali dress and the groom Ranvir Shorey looked stylish in the traditional Sherwani.

Well, Dutt admitted not signing action oriented films and he has a pretty solid logic behind doing roles that are a complete departure from his image. He feels that action movies are going through a bad phase in Bollywood and that movies have to reach the level of the action of IRON MAN or AVATAR to be appreciated by the global audience. He lamented the fact that Indian cinema does not have an international market unlike other countries like China and Korea and felt that this was the reason for the pathetic show of action movies in the past. He also stressed on the need for a change of way films are made in Bollywood so that they could appeal to the global audience and also in India.

Well, some sound logic behind Dutt’s not doing action films, yet we await his return to what he does best!

“I didn’t loose weight; I was just fat and became fit with RA. ONE”, laughs Arjun, “See, the thing is that when you are fat, people try to be nice to you and say that you are healthy. However, this is not always the case, right? Anyways, as I said that the film required me to get into a different level of fitness. When you watch the film, you would understand why I am looking different.”

“RA. ONE is one film which required me to get into an altogether different space when it comes to physical fitness”, informs Arjun who earlier went for a look change in ROCK ON”, “It was the basic criteria of RA. ONE for its central characters to get into a phenomenal shape. There is a new look that I have adopted.”
Off late Arjun has been going through a superb career phase. He has seen four successes in a row with OM SHANTI OM, ROCK ON, HOUSEFULL and most recently RAAJNEETI doing wonders at the box office. Now that WE ARE FAMILY has taken a good opening as well, what does Arjun have in plan for the future when it comes to newer projects?

“I have signed these two films which are quite dramatic in nature. However, I would rather wait for the producers to make an announcement here”, signs off Arjun.

On the contrary Ranbir and I made a conscious effort to be far more serious this time around”, Siddharth throws a surprise here, “Reason being that Ranbir and I are family. We have literally grown up together due to which there was so much comfort we shared in our BACHNA AE HASEENO days. It was tough for us to be serious.”

On the other hand with Priyanka, it was food that broke the ice. No pun intended. “Before I knew Priyanka, I had an impression of her as this Diva, especially so because of her Miss World background. It was only later during the narration that I got to know her better and realised that she was a very simple Punjabi girl who loved food. Once I found this common ground with her, I was able to break loose. Today we bond so very well, she is a buddy.”

This is the reason why producer Sajid Nadiadwala is understandably happy with the camaraderie that his director and actors shared with each other. “I always go with my director’s conviction and once Siddharth finalised Ranbir and Priyanka, I was all for it. I have worked with Priyanka before in MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI so I pretty much know what she is capable. Ranbir is working for my banner for the first time and I strongly believe that his star quotient is tremendous.”

“We are aiming at going global with the film”, divulges Neetu whose brother Nitin Chandra is directing the film, “The film would not just be premiered in Patna, Delhi and Lucknow but also Mauritius. After all there are so many Biharis out there in Mauritius. DESWA would help them make a connect with their own soil all over again. We may even go to other countries for a premier.”

As per Neetu, the film would not just have dialogues in Bhojpuri but also in Hindi, English and – believe it or not – Telugu. Moreover, the film would be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu as well as Marathi so that it reaches out to the farthest corner of the country.

“The intent here is not just to make a film, make profits and sit back and relax. This is just a humble beginning and there are miles to go”, says Neetu, “With DESWA, we would be redefining the very face of Bhojpuri cinema.”

The film sees the launch of three newcomers – Deepak Singh, Kranti Prakash and Ajay Kumar. However, Neetu would be seen only in a guest appearance and not as the leading lady. Instead, a girl by the name of Aarti Puri is being seen in the film. From Bollywood, it is Ashish Vidyarthi who would be seen in a major role. Currently, DESWA is being sent to film festivals before it sees a theatrical release.

Earlier, it was reported that Arjun refused to be part of some films starring SRK since he wanted an increase in his fee. But, all this seems to be a thing of the past now.

Arjun is now looking forward to his next release with SRK - RA.ONE; the two according to sources have put together an amazing show.

‘See, Kajol is an introvert and we all know that’, agrees Arjun, ‘She likes to have her own space and one should respect that. Having said that, she is a wonderful person and is pretty much in her elements when she decides to let her hair loose. As for Kareena, she is someone who would always be on the move. Even after the day’s shoot is over, she would want to make plans for the evening and have fun.’

He goes on to add on a serious note, ‘I guess casting is the best part of WE ARE FAMILY. Not just are the actors hugely competent here, even their real age suits the characters here. The kind of dynamics that Kajol’s character of a mother brings in a film is something that could have been possible only for someone who has kids of her own. Same holds good for Kareena who has no kids of her own. On the other hand, for a real life father like me, I could well understand the dilemma of the character that I play in the film.’

At his end, Arjun remembers how he enjoyed his moments of togetherness with his young co-star.

‘We would hang out, have Pasta or generally chill’, Arjun gets nostalgic here, ‘I found a good friend in Kareena and our chemistry in the film is a reflection of the real life camaraderie that we shared. One has to make a conscious effort to get acquainted. You can’t just sit out there, feel insecure and not interact at all. It doesn’t work that way.’
